Childhood is the most beautiful of all life’s seasons, it’s that time of our lives where we all experience peace and tranquility, free of worries or care. Children are and will always be our most valuable resource.
Here at Jumia, we understand that children are a very important part of any society and this why Jumia in partnership with the ‘1 Child 1 Book’ foundation is actively involved with a Corporate Social Responsibility of promoting literacy amongst the Nigerian children.
In the last few weeks, Jumia threw out a challenge to all children between the ages of 1 and 12 to send in a video of themselves dancing to their favorite song for a chance to win a cool 10K shopping voucher to shop on the Jumia website.
Simeon Udoh, an 11 year old boy came out tops with a total vote of 111 after he posted a video of himself dancing to the popular ‘Shoki’ song. See video below;
