The popular Maslow’s theory of needs tells us that the third innate need of every human being is the desire to be loved and accepted. For that matter, we also bet that no one wants to be caught by the terrifying ‘Fashion Police’ and our guess is as good as yours….it doesn’t in any way feel good at all to be a victim.
Unfortunately, even the most fashionable among us sometimes slip into the pitfall of fashion faux pas but here is the good news: keep these 5 tips in mind and be rest assured that you are less likely to fall victim of this fashion blunders.
1. Keep it Simple
Someone once said “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” and we couldn’t agree more. As A..B..C.. all you need to succeed at being the ‘Fashionista’ in the eyes of everyone is to simply be a fashion minimalist, whatever style or trend you choose. After all, better be safe than sorry.
2. If in Doubt, Do Black and, or White
Don’t get it twisted, you will hardly ever go wrong in black or monochromes. Such life savers! Nothing is absolutely more comfortable. So keep this tip in mind and you will never suffer from those frequent clothes problems.
3. Too tight? Not Right
Not only is it awkward but very tight clothes make you appear silly and people will hardly take you seriously. Its an absolute no-no to wear too tight clothes if what you hope to achieve is to look stylish.
4. Dont’t Wear the Same Color from Head to Toe
Only very few people can pull off a look with all items of the outfit being the same color. All it does is make you look a little less like a clown! If you adhere to tip 1, keep it simple and accessorize with pretty colors, you won’t have to get to this point 🙂
5. Too Much Jewelry.. Absolutely Not!
Except if you are from another planet, if you forget tips No. 1 to No4, never forget this, too much jewelry is not even comfortable for you, the wearer. So whatever you do, always go back to tip 1, keep it simple.
