The Lumia Range

Hi guys, since Windows 8 was released Nokia has introduced the Lumia range consisting of 5 phones with the Windows 8 operating system. Today, i’m gonna give you a brief review of all the phones in the Nokia Lumia range. This review will give you an idea of what suits your preference and your budget as well.

Nokia Lumia 520: The Lumia 520 is the least powerful model in the range and it’s the most recent. It possesses a 4 inch 800 x 480 display (235 ppi pixel density). Sporting a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a 5MP camera(with no flash) and 720p video. It is a very affordable phone and perfect for those just entering the smart phone world.

Nokia Lumia 620: The Lumia 620’s screen is slightly smaller than the Lumia 520’s, at 3.8 inches, but with the same 800 x 480 resolution giving it a slightly higher 246 ppi. The 620 is very similar to the 520, the major differences are that the camera contains flash, the slightly higher ppi and its use of Nokia’s clear-back technology.

Nokia Lumia 720: The Lumia 720 can be contrasted against the HTC One SV, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, and also the Sony Xperia T, as all these phones possess more or less similar features, and are priced alike. It possesses a 4.3 inch 217 ppi 800 x 480 display The main standout feature of the handset is the camera. Sporting a 6.7 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens.

Nokia Lumia 820: The Lumia 820 has better specifications than the previous Lumia’s. It has a substantially faster 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and twice as much RAM (1GB). The camera is also an improvement, with an 8 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens and 1080p video at 30fps. Similar to the 720, it possesses a 4.3 inch 217 ppi 800 x 480 display.

Nokia Lumia 920: The Lumia 920 is Nokia’s flagship handset and has a better list of features than the other phones in the Lumia range. It possesses a 4.5 inch display, with a 332 ppi 768 x 1280 resolution. It has a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It also comes with 32GB of internal storage.It also comes with an 8 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and is capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps.
