Each week we bring you this event roundup with our city of focus being Lagos to help inform you of what’s going down and where. This amazing play is showing for the second weekend and is one i really recommend. I saw it last weekend and it was really good; so good it got the Audience cheering and laughing. It is a play for the whole family so no one is exempted.
The crystal slipper is the story of a simple Family mostly woven around “Adesewa” and her Father. After Adesewa ‘lost’ her mother, the only world she knew was one of beauty, love and the joy of being the center of her father’s attention. Her father decides to re-marry, and for Sewa, that should be the crown of her joy. Her world would be complete again … A loving father, a happy home, and now, the mother that she had always longed for… or so she thought. However, Sewa gets much more than she bargained for!

3. Sunday 28th ‘Chef Fregz Special IX’ at Getz Arena Oniru Lagos

The young, vibrant and totally creative master chef ‘Chef Fregz’ brings yet another edition of Chef Fregz special. Showing for the last time this Sunday at Terra culture and showcasing written works by Nobel Laureate, renowned playwright; Wole Soyinka, The Harvest includes the Jero plays acted out in ways never seen before. In this original comedy, the charlatan preacher, burdened by a “cross” known as the daughter of Eve uses Christian superstition for his own salvation.
In the sequel, the profit minded “Prophet”, he thwarts a government attempt to cleanse the beach of all the dubious brethren who ply their trade there.
