Game Review: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

Author:

I was not a fan of the Assassin’s Creed game franchise before now. As a matter of fact, I did not like the mobile version the first time i tried playing it but one day, out of boredom, I just decided to play it on my Xbox and believe me, I have been stuck since then!

The game is very realistic in nature and it takes you right back to the renaissance period to have a feel of how things were back then. Very interesting story-line and great game characters especially the protagonist “Edward Kenway”.

I was also captivated by the sea journey involved in the Assasin’s Creed game. I can navigate a ship and also battle enemy ship on the sea. The open word scenario is second to none and very compelling.

Although, I must also add, some levels in the game are very difficult to pass. Restarting from the last checkpoint over and over can become tiring but apart from that, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is a “must have” for adventure games lovers like me.  If you haven’t played it, I recommend you give it a trial and I promise you would not drop your game controller once you start playing it.

I give it 8.5 /10
