Jeans are a timeless, I thought a bit of knowledge on this very famous product and how it evolved might be an interesting topic. Jeans evolved in French town of Nimes and denim gets its name from the town ‘de Nimes’.
Denims started out as denim overalls and were used as strong work wear garments for instance, mechanical and painting works but eventually blasted unto the international consciousness after the releases of 2 popular movies that starred Marlon Brando and James Dean in another. In both movies, the rebellious young protagonists wore blue jeans, black leather jackets and tight white t-shirts. These popular figures and thier non-conformist image attracted youths from all over the world. Jeans became a universal symbol and expression of individualism as did the t-shirt and leather jacket.
Everyone I know owns a trusty pair of jeans or a couple. You can wear it for practically any occasion not requiring formal attire and it is very durable requiring minimal washing even with repeated usage. As a matter of fact, the more it gets worn, the better it will get in both fit and appearance. Denim combined appropriately is good for almost any occasion varying from super-sexy appearances to downright casual looks. Personally, I love denims, I mean! I simply can’t go wrong with it.
