“Jumia Tv Madness”
Those who follow football learn very quickly that in football you should always expect the unexpected. In every football competition, there is always that one underdog that comes out all guns blazing to show and prove that they have the bark and bite to roll with the big dogs. A very good example can be seen in Atletico Madrid’s fairytale run to the finals of the UEFA Champions league. The World Cup is here and here are the three teams we believe would take the World Cup by storm and provide a stern test for anybody they come up against:
Belgium: Belgium possesses arguably the finest collection of young players in the world of football today. Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, Kevin Mirallas and Thibaut Courtois deserve all the hype that gets showered on them just about everyday. There appears to be no weak link in the team as they have truly world class personnel to man every area of the pitch. They are sure to be a joy to watch.
Colombia: Led by danger man Radamel Falcao the Colombians are far from a one man team. This is a highly experienced and intelligent team which finished second in their qualifying group, ahead of Luis Suarez’s Uruguay and only two points behind Argentina. The furthest they have ever gotten to in the World Cup is the round of 16 but with their current form they probably will surpass that this time out.
Nigeria: In 1994 our very own Super Eagles had been ranked 5th in the world, the highest ever ranking by an African team by FIFA. This year they have already proven they are number one in Africa by winning the Nations Cup. Steven Keshi seems to have instilled the discipline the team desperately needs to turn the world cup on its head and the team is spoilt with enough firepower to subdue any team. It would be insane to write us out.
If you believe in Nigeria’s chances you can follow up your optimism by taking part in the biggest and maddest gig ever, it’s the Jumia TV Madness. Jumia is providing all customers the chance to win free TVs depending on how far the Super Eagles go in the World Cup.
This is how it goes: If Nigeria qualifies for the Semi finals you will get 25% of your cash back, if Nigeria qualifies for the finals you will get 50% of your cash back and if Nigeria wins the cup you will get 100% of your money back!!
