‘Jumia 1 million fans’
We have made a lot of noise about our most recent milestone of reaching 1 million fans on Facebook. With this achievement, we thought of the best way to show our appreciation to our Social fans and we organized an evening with Jumia for them.
Jumia Team hosted an evening with Top Facebook fans, Most of whom have continued to support the brand online from the onset. The Fans hosted were Henry Dennis, Sanmi Akinrele, Dennis Mgbah, Uzama Osas Martins, Esther Braimoh, Olaolu Falokun and Wuraola Agbaje, who spent the evening dining with the Jumia team enjoying great food, conversation, pictures, a lot of selfies and great company at a restaurant in Victoria Island.
The evening got more interesting with conversations about social media in Nigeria the past and recent trends, talks about a Social media marketer with 100,000 Blackberry messenger contacts (Best Believe) and our Model of the month winner (August) Sanmi Akinrele that gets over 400 likes on his pictures on Instagram with most likes from the Ladies.
Our Fans enjoyed a great evening out with the team. They each got to take away a Jumia goodie bag as a token of our appreciation to them.
