Juliet Anammah set to speak about Nigeria’s Mobile revolution at Mobile West Africa

The CEO of Jumia Nigeria, Juliet Anammah will be speaking at the 2016 Mobile West Africa Conference today, Wednesday, 20th of April, 2016, alongside key players in various sectors about the revolution of the Nigerian mobile industry.

From around 500,000 connected mobile phones 14years ago, the sector has grown to 190 million connected telephone lines, with 146 million active subscribers. According to the Nigerian Communications Commission, Internet subscribers are about 86 million while online retail activities in Nigeria via mobile devices are as high as 85 per cent.

The 2016 edition of the MWA consisting of a panel of female speakers and market experts from top tech companies will focus on proffering valuable insight to help structure the future development of the mobile industry, which is exactly what the conference has been about since its inception.
