As Lagos, Ogun and Abuja begin the mandated 2-week lockdown, millions of Nigerians are now hunkered down in their various homes. And while this serves as a much-needed step towards curbing the current spread of the coronavirus in those states, the fact remains that most people have never had to remain in their houses for such a long stretch. So understandably, there is a lot of uncertainty going around right now.
One thing that has kept the whole world sane through all the madness though are the coronavirus memes being shared on social media. Leave it to the meme creators to make lemonade out of lemons, because they seem to have this knack for finding joy and happiness (or at least opportunities for comedy) in any situation.
So I have scoured the interwebs, and what follows are a few of the funniest coronavirus-related memes and videos I came across on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and beyond.
