Her first major movie was in “Most Wanted”, in 1998. Since then, she has starred in over 40 movies with some gaining international recognition.
In 2011, she was given the honor of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She has won several awards including the Best Actress of the year award at the 2001 City People Awards and the Best Actress in a Leading Role award at the 2005 Africa Movie Academy Awards. She has also had so many nominations.
Another interesting thing about Genevieve is that she is also a musician. She released an album in 2007 with songs like ‘No more’ and ‘One Logologo line’.
