Jumia CEO to present speech at MasterCard Symposium

Juliet Anammah, CEO of Jumia Nigeria will deliver a speech at the 5th MasterCard’s Social Media Foundation event in Accra, Ghana.

The MasterCard’s Social Media Foundation is a high profile event where industry professionals come together to highlight and proffer the way forward on barriers inhibiting financial inclusion around the world whilst championing the course to meet the needs of people living in poverty as well.

This year’s MasterCard Foundation Event is themed: “Clients at the Centre” and it is scheduled to commence 8th November 2017 running through 9th November 2017, lasting two days.

The event will feature 400 leaders committed to advancing financial inclusion from the clients perspective. There will be an assessment on the client’s journey from recent practices and research; to provisions on the way forward.

Opening keynote address will be taken by Jumia Nigeria’s CEO, Juliet Anammah on November 8th, 2017 by 9:15am.

Juliet Anammah has been Jumia’s CEO since 2015 and is an expert with 25 years of professional experience in consumer goods, sales and marketing, and e-commerce. 

Prior to joining Jumia, she was a Partner/Managing Director in charge of Accenture’s manufacturing and consumer goods practice. Previously, she was with Sanofi Aventis, holding various functions in sales, marketing, and product management. 

In Nigeria, Juliet serves on the Boards of the Business Day Advisory Board, the American Business Council, and the Corona Trust Council. She is a fellow of the Yale Nigeria Leadership Initiative and a member of the African Leadership Network.
